Arrow Custom Lower Grill Developed

I'm made a lower grill install to my HHR...

Custom job..
Minor cutting... Its made out of light weight aluminum - All I had to do is cut to length..
fasten... and bammmm.....

It has lots of airflow...

What you want is to stop the small debris from getting suck into the radiator fins, and small projectiles ...

I can post a close up - later this evening.. for those really interested..
How many need the image ??

Cut to fit aluminum mesh grilles are available at about every parts store in America. Try Parts America, AutoZone, Pep Boys, or just about any auto store. The number one supplier of cut to fit mesh grilles is APC. They also have it in colors and patterns like flame and Maltese cross. You could probably find it cheaper than an auto parts store if you look around on line or check Ebay but they are already pretty cheap to start with. They are not my style because just about every Japanese rice racer has mesh grilles.

Alright
I'll tell you... then..
I went to OSH, and bought... the 6 inch wide aluminum wire mesh that is sold in a roll, that is used for the screen mesh for gutters.
Used , the tie wrap adhesive anchor parts (not found at OSH) to mount to the lip of the lower moulding, then tie wrapped in place.

If it gets major damage, its easy to replace... and I don't have to order an replacement..

Hey.. it did the job..

I love Chinese food! Old habbits die hard, check out a Mustang board and you'll see what I mean. I believe in the superiority of American vehicles and would never buy anything but. All five of the cars I have owned are American, four GMs and one Ford. Even in the dream car thread both of my choices are American. I'm not anti-rice, I'm pro-American.
