Dash Topper

Having always bought dash toppers for my vechiles, from dashtoppers.com, how well do they fit on the hhr, especially with the compartment on top of the dash ? Any suggestions for a good source ?

Hi Howard,

Welcome to the site!. I am in Long Beach and there is a whole bunch of great people that make up SoCal HHR's. We get together often and would love to have you join us. What color dash topper do you want? We love to see pics of your cars.

Hi Don

We just bought, for the wife, a 08 LT Silver one, grey interior, 2.2 with the chrome appearance package, 0% financing was nice, probably will get a grey dash topper. Just found this site yesterday, allot of good information here.
Will get a picture of it this weekend.

Howard,

The Dealer that I got it from gave me one. It's dark gray and there is a flap made in for the upper dash compartment. I'm not going to use it, I like the naked dash look. Make me an offer and it's yours.

I bought a "cheapy", in the morning "thieves markets"...to see how effective they are in removing the bounce heat from the dash.....before spending more for a better one.

I paid $20.00 and it fits well and allows the center storage to open and close without a problem. Mine also has a relief for the passenger air bag, which COULD be a major concern.

I would think any cover, that is thought out, would work well. They're fitted to the dash and attached with Velcro.....so, it's all in the placement of the Velcro.

Oh, forgot to say....this cheapy worked so well (reducing heat radiation) , I never purchased a name brand. Been about 1 1/2 years now.
