that plug goes to where the stock headlight bulb used to plug into ( allows the stock controls to activate the new ballasts ). if it's not a direct replacement ( i think hhr have a H13 plug ), you're gonna have to cut and splice the new wires in ( white, blue, and brown ). good luck, and hope this kinda helps

it fit on directly, and everything worked fine, but after about 20 minutes the passenger bulb no longer works. ive checked all connections. both ballasts power up and stay running (i can hear them under the wheel well)

do you know which wires are which out of those 3 on the stock connector (white blue brown)?

does it matter if that plug is connected/spliced to the drivers side or passenger side? i have it on the drivers side currently.

mine give me problems all the time, the passenger side wont come on unless i switch my lights off and on. mine weren't direct fit so i had to splice the wires. don't remember which wires do what, but i just swapped them around til they worked. it shouldn't matter which side you have them wired to either.

I installed my DDM kit myself, and haven't had any problems with the headlights- I did have a fog light go out, but after getting to it, the connection to the bulb had just come loose (probably after hitting a pothole or something.) No problems since.

Possibly the connection?

ill have to pull the bumper cover again to check more thoroughly, but i peeled back the passenger fender and i checked all the connections from the ballast to the bulb. the ballast powers up and stays on, so it cant be the connection there. if i flick my brights, i can hear the little "click" and see the bulb move, so its getting power, just wont light up. im going to test with another bulb tomorow.

thanks for the wiring diagram btw! :)

do you have the hi/low kit, or just the low beam? if i have the connector i posted in the first post plugged into the drivers side, could that be causing the headlight switch to not turn on the passenger? it shouldnt, becuase it was working, and theres only one of those plugs from the DDM harness anyways, so it has to go into either the drivers or the passenger stock connector..
