Isn't that the plug like they said that plugs into the stock headlight plug????

This one?

You did order it for the proper headlights correct? H13

I believe the headlight system only has the one input. Then the power draw it uses off the battery. So you have the ground on each ballast, the battery hook up on the harness and the harness plug into the where the headlight USE to plug into (only 1 on one side). Then the ballast plugs in and so does the hi/lo beam small wire to the bulb in addition to the insulated wires to the bulb itself. Plug n play

If you're still having problems I can PM you my phone number and see if I can help you further. I've done about 6 DDM HID kit installs on varoius things.

yea, i got H13 hi/low bulbs. and yes, the plug i posted in my first post plugs into the stock bulb connector on either side. weather the pins match up from the DDM plug to the 3 wires on the stock connector is beyond me. ive heard some people had to splice the wires together manually.

PM me ur number if you want, i will probably give you a call after work when i get home and get the bumper cover back off (im off at 330pm EST)

Sorry typo... you SHOULDN'T need a error code eliminator... was doing like 3 things at once here at work, myself as well.

So they are all plugged in. One side lights the other don't?

Have you tried to flip flop the ballasts?

That usually helps you figure out if it's a ballast.

I have even had to flip the polarity of the light plug ins on an install. But when that happened the ballasts wouldn't fire.

EDIT: and after 330 will work for me too. I'll have access to my hhr, my home pc, and internet.

perfect. i just got your PM as well.

i havent tried switching ballasts, i have them secured down really good and its gonna be a PITA to undo them. i have another set of ballasts and bulbs though (for my fogs when i buy the housings) so i can start by testing with one of the bulbs i guess.

but yea, thats pretty much it, both lights were working for about 20 minutes, then i got to a parking garage to see them in a darker setting (was still day outside) and i noticed the passenger was off.

whats weird too is this....

when i first got them both in and everything, i flicked the brights to see, and nothing happened. the brights would only come on if i pulled the lever "in" as if i was flashing someone. if i flicked the lever "out" to lock on the brights, nothing (would just stay on low beams)

NOW though, the brights will stay locked on, as well as go on if i just flash the brights (only on the drivers side though obviously)

thats weird though how that happened at first, then the bulb stopped working on the passenger side, but now the brights will stay locked on.

Even on their troubleshooter it says to try another ballast & maybe the bulb. But always do one at a time.

https://www.ddmtuning.com/support/in...d=1&parentid=0

one side doesn't turn on

This could be caused by a bad bulb, ballast or wiring. The easiest way to check this is by swapping the bulb and ballast one at a time to the side that works to check that each component is functioning as it should.
I would do this first and foremost. Test it with one of your other ballasts.
