Really? I kind of like the chicklets.

From a branding standpoint, I think it's good that they're reinforcing the GM brand as a whole, as well as Chevy.

Ya I kinda like them too. It might be because of where they are placed as when they are on the doors of cars they suck. I would remove them from the doors if placed there

edit: when I say doors I mean like where the SS is

I actually don't mind the chicklets in general, and I think they look good on their own. However, I think, when you add the SS badges so close...it's too much. The SS badges always win, in my book.
