They're just stuck on with some 3m double-sided tape. Use some fishing line or dental floss in a 'sawing' motion behind the emblem to work through the tape. Use your fingers to peel any remaining tape from the car. Finish with bug/tar remover to get the sticky residue off. Pretty easy.

You could probably use a little heat (hair dryer, etc) to break down the adhesive
