Anyone got any ideas on what to do with this? I want to change the color. Probably black.

I tried some of that carbon fiber vinyl from advance auto and it doesn't work well for this.

I even heated the vinyl and nothing. The door I tried it on took some of the paint off that trim.

Any suggestions would help, thanks.

 

SEM makes a trim black paint that works on just about everything.

 

Have you thought of painting it?

Was it hard masking the other areas off to paint?
Did you use spray or brush paint?
Did you take the panel off?
What type of paint? SEM that was previously mentioned?
Give me all you can remember.

I'm trying to breakup some of the tan/brown color.

It's got to much of that color inside this car.
