Has anyone else who has had these wheels had any problems with the chrome coming off and rusting badly??

My wife's are pretty much shot!

WOW, sorry to hear that. Those are nice looking wheels, especially on the HHR. Maybe that is why they got discontinued.

I just put on my second set of tires and they look as good as new. I do wipe them down at least once a week with quick detailer and a microfiber towel.

Saddly the wife's car doesn't get much attention and it's been through three midwest winters of snow/slush/salt!

I still didn't think they'd be so bad so soon. I'll try to get some pics and post them.

Well it's offical, after four years these are toast, rust and now lots of chrome peeling off.

Thinking of these.......

They look good, but you should try to get a pic of them on the HHR, doing that changed my mind about the last set I was considering.
Also, what are you doing with the old wheels? Have you asked if they are suitable for refinishing? A good media blasting and powdercoat would cost less than new wheels and you can pick your color.

Tire Rack has a feature that lets you see them on an HHR, even had my wifes color. Before we buy, we'll check on having them refinished. The hassle is having it done, much easier to get new, and these aren't gonna be much more than having the old refinished.
