Exhaust tip

Hi guys!

Just picked up a 2006 HHR this week. Dealer had it sitting on the lot and was desperate to get rid of it.

Anyways, just looking for some minor enhancements. Anyone used this exhaust tip before or bought from this company? Any opinions?

Hard to tell, not very good pics in the listing.

I think you might do better checking your local part store or muffler shop. By the time you pay shipping, $20 , you got a $55 tip that you can't be sure what it really looks like.

For what you would pay for the tip itself and shipping, I would think you could get a nicer one from a local muffler shop. I got a nice double walled stainless steel tip from Mighty Muffler for $60 and they welded it on for me too. Screw on tips are fine, but they can be stolen these days. I'd opt for something that can be welded on.

BTW... to the forum. Look forward to getting to know more about you and your HHR.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm going through the guy's feedback and it seems to check out so far.

I have something that looks like that on my Suburban. Wasn't the cheapest thing on the market either.

i bough a reactive exhaust and had the shop make make a adapter pipe and welded it to the factory end without the tip so much better then the factory exhaust tip aftermarket is the way to go

That's the Cobalt exhaust tip. We ordered it from GM Parts via our dealer. I would have preferred the stock tip, but considering ours never came with one (it was that new), I'll take what we could get.

Thanks everyone. I'm going to buy it from their website so I don't have to sign up for eBay.
