I've heard several disscussions about the 'Fall Edition Headlights', Exactly what are they? If some one has a close up pict of the headlight, I would sure like to see it. I'm thinking of painting the inside of my lights dark blue (body color, Imperial Blue), and would like to see just how they would look. Any dark color (in the pict) would be good, so I can check it out.

For guys on a buget, This mod cost me about $20.00 and 45 mins.

 

Thanks guys for all the comments, there doesn't seem to be a lot of difference, they're just a little bit darker in/on the chrome area.
What do you guys think of my idea of dark (Imperial) blue for everything but the reflectors???
SBSS, just exactly what did ya do to yer headlights? I think I like 'em.

I just took a set apart. going to paint the insides but I haven' t decided on black or to try and match my paint as close as possible (BFM) going to mess around with it this week.
Dupli color makes a paint called Metalcast that looks like colored chrome. http://www.duplicolor.com/products/metalcast.html I bought a can of the Smoke. think it will look more like the color of the Fall Editions.

I also removed the amber blinker lenses.

I am using stock lights... and they are a pain in the arse to get apart. I ended up partially cutting the housings 1st. heating alone doesn't work.
