if you get some smallish bubbles take a pin and puncture (i said something else the first time and apparently it's a bad word, didn't even think of it in that context) a small hole in them then push the air out, they should pretty much disappear.
i'm a designer and we covered a gallery in vinyl words so i learned how to lay vinyl pretty quick. i'm talking my boss into getting us a cutting machine for mock ups of some of our projects, it just happens to cut vinyl as well... lots of projects in store for it.

lol exactos do help alot.. i just used some scissors and my knife.. lol
but i have xactos and vinyl applicant tools, just to lazy to use them.
ive been laying vinyl for years off and on. its fun..
few easy tips on not gettin bubbles...
make sure car is not hot.. park in garage or in shade.
pull off the vinly from one corner and start applying
slowly and press down in a slanted motion.. and never
pull it back up and re-apply... not good! lol

It's in the 90's here and I have no shade, so, this will have to wait...

Those bubbles will work out once they're in the sun for a bit.
My company does vehicle wraps, so I took some of the comply material and wrapped it around the bowtie. It's much easier than regular computer-cut vinyl! It's called 3M 180C Control Tac w/ Comply if you want to look for some.

I'm so not good at being "handy" with things like this. I can remove engines, do brakes, fix all sorts of other things on cars - but I'm deathly afraid of doing this right.
Anyone in Renton/Seattle, WA that might be willing to help me do the Grille and bow ties (front and rear) with Red letters/bow ties?
I'll provide beer or lunch or something!

I've been saying I was going to paint my bow ties for two years now. Never did get it done. I tried the vinyl covering and just never could make it look right. Painting was the way I was going to go.
Now since I took the Moon Eyes off and put the black wheels on I have decided to paint the entire grill black and put on brushed aluminum bow ties. Hoping that some of the brushed one that are available for Chevy trucks will be the right size.

It's crooked because that's how I put it on. The problem was that I matched the line of the edge of the hood instead of installing them level. But after two years no one else has ever mentioned it so I figured it was okay. What used to be chrome is now just white anyway. They fade out over time. When I put new ones on later I'll try to do a better job for you.
