Question Fog Lights switch mods

Guys,

Is it possible to have the fogs stay on all the time that the low beams or parking lights burn?

I can do this on my Acura TL so it must not be a state law prohibition. I have to manually turn the fogs on each time, it would be neat to just be able to turn them on and off at will. Smart wiring would let them work only with the parking lights or low beams.

Something turns off the fogs each time is what I'm saying. Have you solved it, because I did a search and found nothing.

Thanks,
QuickRick

you could just wire them straight off of a switch...but whats so special about having fogs only vs. fogs and running lights on? IMO the fogs looks better on with the running lights on as well...

Thumbs up Fog lights

Guys,

Actually I meant.......be able to turn them on and leave them on when the car starts and at least the parking or low beams are on. I'd like them to go out with the other lights when I shut the car off.

My beef is that I have to think (big problem here) to reach for the fog switch each and every drive. Neat too to be able to have em on just with the parking lights at dusk etc.

The tips done by others like Mike GDZ helps lots...it is possible!

Thanks,

I turn on my fogs all the time to add a little more for opposing drivers to see. It adds to the yellows that are on.

oh, so your waning them to automatically come on when you start the car on their own without having to actually turn them on everytime?

That's what mine do now. They are on when I turn the car on and shut off when the car is shut off. It was a very easy mod. All you need is a harzard light switch. part numbers are in the how-to I did. I love it!

fogs

Mike,

Are you stating that the switch itself not button can be utilized? The shape of the hazard isn't the same as the fog button is why I ask.

Thanks!

p.s. yup--it will be neat to have them always on with the car unless I want them to be off.
