They have precut ones on Ebay.
Do a search for HHR parts.
good luck/ later

The film takes the hit...

My other car took a good hit a week ago, it also has the 3m film bra..
a piece of tire in the road way was over ran by another car in another lane.. I didn't have time to swerve... it hit the lower section of my moulding.. I thought for sure damage... when I pulled over.. it was a scuff mark, wiped it off... the film slightly damage.. but my paint underneath didn't get damaged..

Cool, I`ve got to do something, my front end is taking a beating...
I ordered the film off e-bay, it was only the lower set, got all the tools and stuff, went to put it on, said, WTF, none of this stuff goes where I want it.
Put it back on the board, walked away in frustration... Never ordered the top set, I know I should, just hate when a plan doesn`t come together.

I am hoping to have a 3M clear bra installed some time this summer. The lovebugs around here get really bad in September and those stinking things have corrosive guts that can actually eat through paint.I wish they would stay in Florida but if we have southerly winds that time of year,I have seen them as far north as Montgomery. Can't y'all down there in Florida do something about those things?

Did you have it installed at a shop or do it yourself?

If at a shop how much?

3m

I finally ordered the top pieces of 3M.
Came out pretty good, did it myself (w/Mrs. B/B).

That looks great BB. I'm surprised at how good. Was it a bear to do?

I bought a bra for mine and take it off regularly to clean it and clean the hood under it. As long as you do not leave them on long term, clean regularly both the bra and hood were it covers you should have no problem. I also put a good coat of turtle wax ICE on before I put the bra on. It saves a good part of th hood from paintchips on a long trip, I know, I got one before I purchased the bra and it cost to have the chip re-painted and mine fits nice and snug.
