Giovanna wheels

I've had my eye on this wheel for a long time. Thoughts?

Hey, if the captain says they're good.....

Took a quick look and didn't see anything about the offset. With any variance from the stock 42 mm, you really need to pay attention to rubbing issues. Don't worry about the width.

A 235/40-18 is a near perfect tire size match in diameter, but will be wider at the shoulder than stock and that's where the rubbing will happen, especially at the rear upper lip. You may need to get that rolled.

Good luck!

I've been thinking about running 225's to prevent rubbing. Unfortunately, I think I may not be able to use these rims. The one website I linked to has them as a fitment for the HHR, however, every other website with details states that the rims are only available in a 5x108 pattern, not a 5x110.

Rats. The search continues. I'm so picky about rims that it's taken me nearly two years to start narrowing down the list.

On second thought, maybe I could use some wheel adapters...

Why not contact them directly to find out about bolt circles available (and if they do custom drilling!) and offset.

Hopefully, if you express interest they will be able to help you!

Good luck again!!

True. For as much as those wheels cost, you'd think you could get a set with a custom pattern...

For that type of wheel with a center cover and if you know that they can do a 108 mm circle, they can definitely do a 110! .... If they want to!?!

Call 'em man!!

BTW.... ain't ya too old fer this?? j/k

I like those SS polished rims. I've really been considering those rims as well just for the cost factor. Hmmm. Well, we'll see how much cash I can get in the kitty once my promotion goes through. The SS rims would definitely free up more cash for SS ground effects and a Pioneer AVIC-D3.

Decisions, decisions. I've got to be the most indecisive HHR owner on this board!
