i have just that in process (3 bar w/no bowtie) sectioned in the lower bar (to the middle)after cutting out all 3 will be either black to match body or maybe a semi gloss charcoal ? pics soon

You know, its not our fault but the HHR would look better if Chevy had not put that dark charcoal colored plastic insert on the front bumper, and just made it painted and smooth like the rest of the bumper, i.e. one full painted bumper with no charcoal plastic insert.
