Grip Tape Mod...

I've been using my SS more and more for work and deliveries and have been needing all the cargo space. With the rear seats down, anything on top of them begins to slide all over the place. I had some extra grip tape laying around and decided why not use it on the rear seats. I placed it on the 1" raised strips. Came out really well and now nothing moves anymore. You can pick up a roll of tape at Lowes or Home Depot for about $10. It's a great cheapie mod.

I had to cut 6 22" strips, 1 16.5" strip, 3 17" strips and 4 2" strips.

Excuse the Armorall overspray, the wife was trying to help detail the interior.

Have not done a lotta haulin to warrant having the seats folded down yet, but that looks like a great mod.

I was entertaining the thought of covering the seat backs with carpet matching the rear cargo area, just so it'll look better if/when the reat seats are down(Which i prob would do close to 100% of the time if it all matched.)

On the grip tape,,,, I found skateboard tape (same thing) a lot cheaper than the roll stuff. Enuf to do a few boards for under $2.Mot as long as what you did on yours, but someone needing some for other uses might use this info.
(Was needing some for my garden tractor and everything else i had seen was too narrow, this worked great and lots cheaper than what John Deere wanted for theirs.)

I got a set of the non skid mats that come with the HHR panel version.

Nothing moves on these mats, and the front mat rolls up behind the rear seat when not in use.

Thanks to TkHHR for letting me use his mats for testing the fit.

It has been a minute since I looked into skateboard parts but, I'm sure you can get clear grip tape (or other colors).
