Pin Striping tape

I found 1/8" CHROME pin striping at Pep Boys today! Prostripe brand. 36' for about $7.00
Great idea to try your pin strip design in tape before going for the real paint.
I'm sure ya'll can be creative with this tape in other places inside and outside of your HHR's. Along with the 1/8" chrome molding we have seen others use, this could add to ones elegant touch detailing!

The "Shade Shifter" tape looked interesting too!

...and seeing as how you all just love the visuals, here is a sample image! (tomorrow better images as it was night time when I did this)

Someone stop that girl!!!

(you go, Sindy! )

*Tip: "Chrome" pinstripe tape will show every imperfection underneath the tape. It is very important to clean the area thoroughly with rubbing alcohol before applying the pinstripe, as any dirt or dust will show up as "bumps" in the shiny chrome tape.

Hope it helps,

With all the cool stuff I am seeing you guys post from Pep Boys...I guess I'm gonna have to drive across town and see what they have for my HHR. They sure seem to have a better selection of stuff than Auto Zone, Checkers or Advance.

BTW...LOL @ Mike on stopping Cindy. I know just how she feels.

Yeah, I'd have to say in Temecula, I rate as follows:

1) Pep Boys

2) Vato Zone

3) SoCal HHR's (Oh, wait - that's supposed to be #1!?! )
