Is it hard to remove the bowtie from the grille?
Just wondering if many ppl have done this with their HHR's...
remove the bowtie on the grille. Does it come off without too much trepidation?

This is a mixed bag.
You CAN remove the actual bowtie, some consider it easy, I did not. It can be done though if you are careful. I removed mine to paint the gold part to match my car.
However there is an outline/base which is part of the grill. Sindy has removed this but had to build the bar up to look like the others.
hope this helps.

The first time my guy did the bowtie removal, when he filled in the 'gap' he thought the grill mounted a certian direction. When I pointed it out that is mounts upside down of how he thought, he reworked the grill to fill that gap as seen in the first pic's of that mod that I posted.
Not an easy mod, is what my guy said too! Not something he would do again he told me!

Sindy...
Casper is absolutely HOT.
You and your 'crew' did an excellent job on him.
I don't normally like white cars at all, but something about that monochrome look Casper has going on... looks great.
