Alm. Diamond Plate is fairly easy to work with. Head down to the local iron works and pick some up and fab the parts yourself. I haven't done any on my HHR but I did trimmed out a car trailers with it. It might look good with some diamond plate on the bottom quarter of the doors. The thinner stuff can be bent with your hands.

 

What types of things are you looking for?

 

Check the other thread on the General board...he started a new one...but I'm sure the mods will take care of the duplicate threads by either merge or delete of this one.
