HHR SS Center Cap corossion?

Does anyone have an issue with the clear coat corroding on their HHR SS center caps? See pic below:

I haven't. 3 winters and still looking good. Now they are sitting in my house.

Looks more like the clearcoat is de-laminating from the base metal, you could strip them and refinish but you'd probably lose the gold paint on the Bowtie.

Take them in to the dealership. You should have corrosion coverage. That's crap.

They'll probably say its not covered, environmental damage etc. But its still worth a try.

You can also cover them up with SS steering wheel plates. They are the same size as the steering wheel SS logo. If mine become bad in a few years, I will be purchasing them.

If you are looking to keep them stock, well then that just plain sucks.

I got new rims that way.

Show them that its blistering from underneath outward. That's a manufacturing defect, NOT an environmental one.

I showed my dealer that there was a bubble in my rim that had no chip and they were convinced.

Started with these...
