HID's & DRL's

Okay so I know that there are 100's of post on HID conversion kits and light colors, so this may seem redundent. How does one of these kits work with the DRL's? Is there a kit out there that comes with a way to intergrate this feature? I don't want to rigg this up and I would like it to work like factory equipment.

Is there a kit out there that will do this or will I have to add a relay to get the kit to work with the DRL?

I would like to keep this function. Also, is there any issues with one of these kits working with the auto headlamp feature with the photo sensor?

You will need an H13 relay harness.

FYI: only '06 HHR's use the turn signal as the DRL lamp... '07 and up use the headlights.

The DRLs run at a lower voltage than the lights normally would, which is an issue for HIDs. The quick fix would be to pull fuse #31 from the fuse block under the hood, which disables the DRLs and has no other effect.

hook up the relay system that comes with the HIDs and pull the DRL fuse or use a TECH2 and remove the DRL feature
