No... Didn't want to have Mr & Mrs Police pull me over for red lights in the front, besides I bought the 2 without the lights for less than 1 with the lights. I am making different vent caps so these will come off for the snow. What I may do is add angled white led "spot lights" to light up the caps and new lower bumper grill.

I did notice though that the skulls that light up are the same ones i used that didn't light up and can add leds if I wanted to. You would just have to peel off the backing tape, wire them, then throw some new 3M on them.

 

What if....you left those skulls on there, and wired in some big LED's and use them as vanity fog lights? I think that would be cool. imho.

 

My question is this ...those (lighted) were designed as grill emblems werent they ? why do they make them in red and not some other color ...I guess if you were savvy enough you could replace the LED with another color ...Officer and you tell me would green , Yellow or Blue be legal do you think?

 

I belive all those colors are taken .. green is Vol. EMT....yellow is Highway or city .....blue is Vol. fire .. purple is Hearse ... and red as we know is the police . )
You can use all of them as long as you are parked.... and not trying to impersonate . )
But i could be wrong.......
