Yeah, that is what he had in mind when he built them, but he made his a full on limo where the original just had that little fake thing behind the driver.

He has actually become friend with Butch Patrick (Eddie Munster) and he told him that there were two originals - one for the show and one for personal appearances. Butch said they were both crap. Most of the time they wouldn't start and ran hot if they did. Ronnie uses his cars for daily drivers, although most of the time he drives my old 34 now. Butch took him down to meet George Barris a few years ago and they all loved his car.

Hmmm... I don't know the history but if my old man memory is not failing too much I think I remember it being driven more than just one episode. Granted it was not very much. Probably because it was all looks and not much mechanically! haha

Just said they Reminded me of the originals.

I'd still take the originals if I ever got the chance and Won the Lottery of course. LOL

My new carpool/carshow companion arrived today.

More pics in my gallery.

I have one of my older skeletons (have 3 of them) for my Halloween displays sitting side by side for comparison.

New one is a 4th quality Medical Skeleton lifesize and Way More Detail.

I am going to order up a few more and Retire the old skeletons.

I have a "flying crank ghost" I made and one of these without the legs on will make it even better.

Angry Bad@aased stuff guys !!!!

I think I just Jacked my own thread ! is that even possible ???? tose are great and I just think its uber cool that someone took them from Props to tops ...beautiful ...see thats what its really all about for me ...its the cheesy rule ...its really only cheesy if your trying to be cool ... but if you jump into cheesy with both feet and a grin ...by proxy thats just cool !

Now sat the 16th is 6 weeks I have been waiting for this car ...the #!@*&% sales manager tells me I am at the mercy of the F##king teamsters union as they only ship when they have a full load ... Okay I'm trying not to feel any real malice her and relaize I'm Kinda acting like a spoiled Kid at christmas here but still ...she was built on Sept. 22 and done i AM TOLD BY THE 24! They can tell me that but cannot give me an exact date !!!

Why is it I can track a package containing shipped items from the friggan gulag in the russian Stepps but they cant find a car ????

You Know Im trying to turn over a new leaf ...be a kinder gentler me ...but seriously theres a salesman and manager in danger of getting a slug in their left butt cheek!!! ( why left ? because I dont really want to kill them , so this way they limp to the right and won't stagger into traffic)

* GM MANAGER* if you trip over this , maybe you could splain better and or confirm this is common ...I'm starting to get suspicious because they have a "you get whatever discount or incentive they offer WHEN THE CAR COMES IN" and Im begining to wonder it they are waiting for some deal to fall of the table so they can hit me for more cash up front when I sign the papers ... and either I'll be walking out of there or someone will limp ...so if you can clarify I might be able to calm down a bit !

If they try to hold it till some deal ends I would say F them and walk the hell out. That would be some shady ****.

I hope you get the car eventually, I hate waiting so 6 weeks would drive me nuts.

I HATE waiting too. If they try and Pull out on any incentive in effect the day you ordered Unless a New one was Better, I'd walk away telling them to go pound sand.

Then, go find a Used Low milage one thats Exactly what you want and Save a ton of cash.

Thats what I did. Bought my '08 2LT BLACK Panel(HAD to be BLACK) with Black(ebony) interior. It had the Options I wanted, 19,000 miles so it's still under Full factory Warranty. I paid 12,000.00, got $4000.00 for my 10 year old trade in, and put $1,500.00 cash down as well. After Taxes and Plates and that crap, I only financed about 7,500.(that includes my finance charges to)

I secured my own financing Before going to look at it, minimum loan terms were 36 months, but I am making Triple payments each month (because I want to) to pay it off within 1 year. I'll Own my Panel free and clear and still be under warranty.

And Saved well over Half what a New one would have cost me. Not to mention 5 years worth on payments on it.

With the Savings I was able to add quite a few upgrades/mods and still not be over budget.

And lets face it, Sadly the HHR has a pretty low resale value, so buying a used one can Save you a Ton. Plenty of used ones out there for sale that you can Find the Exact one with the Options YOU want for well Below the cost of a new one.

I also Wanted to buy NEW, but the cost of brand new over buying one used was not in my best interest. And the fact that IF I was gonna buy New, I Wanted a Black SS Panel and Chevy/GM had already pulled the plug on the SS Panel by the time I would have been ready to walk into the Dealer to Order one up.

I think I made a Wise choice buying the one I did. The original buyer had it just over a year, they bought it in '09 New, he bought it and took the Hit (loss) at his trade in. It sat at the Dealer for sale for Months and I watched them drop the price each week or two by $500.00 until it was near the price I was willing to pay for it.

The used market is Flooded with HHR's and not enough HHR Buyers like us who Like the Retro look, and that drops the resale price for some pretty sweet Deals for someone like myself who Wanted the HHR, We can walk into a Dealer and if you did your homework, get a very good deal on a used one.

Even private sellers are willing to Deal after trying to sell theirs for Months and since they wanted to sell, they just want OUT of it and have it GONE.

If your Tired of Waiting and can GET OUT of it, seriously think about buying a Clean Low Milage HHR that has Exactly what you want on it option wise and Save yourself some Big money. And then buy all the Mods you want for it.

I remember it went out to the drag strip once, that is when the built the coffin model. Cause the "family" car lost.... They had to win it back.
