How Do You Open a Smooth Gate?

Like the title reads, what have folks done to open the rear gate when they shave them smooth? I searched and found a couple where folks have removed the rear glass, the trim and plate recess, I wish the fob had provisions for it.

Do you think it will hold up to our weather being there?

Only if you fabricate the mount properly for it to make it waterproof.

Armed with a wiring diagram, you could probably figure something out.

See the other liftgate thread.

Lunchbox relocated his a while back, the switch survives in our winter weather above the license plate, so just tucked into the bumper cover or inside the gas cap door should be fine!

Door poppers

Use door poppers like the ones that
I've used on shaved doors
There is also one that is hidden in the window
Just touch the window and the door
Opens ! Magic
