How do you remove the chrome pieces?

How do you remove the chrome pieces?
I only ask because I want to do something to each of the chrome pieces (mirrors, handles, beauty bar, roof rack, and grill). I already know how to take the grill out, but the rest I am curious on how to do that. I am hoping my HHR will definitely look different after I am done. :)

With the beauty bar you have to remove the inside panel of the lift gate to get to the hardware. Maybe a thd some place on the forum.
