I thought I heard a gun shot!

It happend on 10/22/07. Not even 1000 miles on my new wheels and tires. I swear it sounded like a .45 cal pistol going off.

Rear Passenger Tire @ 65 mph

If you think this is bad. The very next night I get hit on the way home from work. Not even one block from my work. The other person ran the red light and clipped my front passenger side. Had to replace the front bumper, fender, and headlight. The front passenger side wheel also got a little scuffed up.

Wow! I had a similar thing happen years ago with a planer blade on the freeway. the front tire kicked it up and the back tire caught it dead center going 70mph. I had 275/60/15 tires so the rim was fine, but the noise was incredible.

You are having a bad streak of luck for sure!

Ouch!!! I would probably stay off that road though. Somebody lost a rather large bolt to something and sooner or later that's going to fall off too
