Interior door handle

Interior door handle

Well my drivers side door handle broke on me today. Anyone have one laying around that you would like to sell? Or do you konw if i can get one without buying the whole door panel as many have said after searching the web on this issue? thanks

If you mean the inside handle broken. The only fix is to replace the door panel or you could try this.

Still a Problem?

Is this still a problem with the latr model cars? I see his is an 06. Hoping they corrrected this weak point on later models.

I dont think its been corrected on my 2008, it looks pretty fragile. Im pretty sure any attempt to pull the door closed would snap it.

thanks for the reply...guess ill be fixing this thing up with apoxy and a metal strap of some sort. hard to believe no one has made something even aftermarket thats metal or billet to replace these when they brake...let the fun begin!

problem with the aftermarket is its a rarely announced failure and HHRs are such a niche market compared to say the cobalt or the honda civic. think about how much moey would need to be spent on r and d and marketing just to get the product out there. i with you on more aftermarket parts but we are just too few (that and a lot of the people are of an older generation and dont tent to mod their cars out ((no offense to anyone on here older than me just an observation))) and sorry about the long post i was just boored.
