The other day my drivers side interior door handle stopped opening the door. i just finished taking off the door panel assuming it was a broke handle and low and behold the handle is in perfect condition. the cable is moving freely and i can hear it making noise by the actual door latch when i pull it. Im at a loss for whats keeping the door from opening now. anyone have any ideas?

Hey "zalock" - You get yours fixed?
I have a 2009 & mine stopped working about 2 weeks ago. I did a lookup and saw the info about broken door handles, etc. Bought the kit ($99.95) opened the side panel, surprise! handle isn't broken, working as it should. Followed the cable to the latch, it's not broke either. Seems to be a latch issue?
Got any ideas? The whole linked piece about seems like something else. Almost seems like the cable stretched.
