Iron Man gets chromed ( Again) plus a meesy garage!

So here from Race and Street are some new simple chromish mods I did to Iron Man.
Lots of pics and I even found a lost Chevy in my garage

Find the hidden Chevy!

Filled with blankets and light boxes, but still, not one of its finest days.:

I even found an IMCO muffler ready to go with its custom hanger!Three days use and it had to come off. Iron Man relies on stealth and is trying to be a quiet machine.

The other Corvair escaped the garage for a week or two, but she'll get back in the pen again, but this time NO clutter

I just moved my dad from a three story condo to a one room apt so his clutter ( what I did not throw out ) became my clutter. Beside, its cool owning and using socket sets and other tools my grandfather used on Model Ts and Pope Hartfords a hundred years ago. Plus I got his three Kodak cameras from the 1890's
Now to find a place to put it all......

Ok, LP.
I 'm likely tosell both it and the CGS if I decide to go back to stock and have a buyer for the combo, but if I keep the intake then I'll let you know since the muffler is really in great shape and needs a home I even put a $24.99 tip on it plus had the bracket made.
Nice muffler but to much sound for us

Looking good!! As for the garage,I am also guilty of doing what a stand-up comedian referred to as:"Only in America will people have 2 thousand dollars worth of stuff in their garages and a 20 thousand dollar car in the driveway".

Hey Mike, Bob has some of those stainless pieces on his side markers, were you able to get a light-leak proof fit or does light come around the outside of the ornament? I just think they are a bi small, but look great in the daylight

Thanks! Good one! I'm trying to achieve a balancing act here . I refuse to give up the garage to just stuff , so the cars get buried.
My wife has the answer of course, sell the convertibles so we could put our new-still-paying-for cars in the garage.
"But then I'd have to unbury them each time we need them." I explain

Honestly, I never looked. Didn't reall care though. I just liked how they the stainless looked during the day.

I'll have to check Bonnie's.

I think it would be tough to get the fit much closer than they did on those, but you're right, there is a tiny bit around the edges.

I'm really happy with them. (I know, you didn't ask me.) Only word of caution, be very careful when putting them on. Each one will only fit ONE tail light. I had to rip a couple off.....who needs to read directions.
