Sorry. I know I'll have to shrink these. I'll reduce these pics as soon as I have a chance.

YES. Running boards are definitely on my list. I'm working on one other mod right now, but the running boards will be next on the agenda.

*HERE* is the thread regarding picture size and a link to download software to reduce picture size. It's free. One of the posts has a link to another site that you can do it online without having to download any software.

If you need additional help, just say the word and help will come popping out of the Forums woodwork!

Those picture look fantastic! Great work!

They ( the pics ) look fine on my screen (1200 x 1600). All fit in the widow.
I use pbase for my picture repositoryTry pbase for a hosting service. I have used them for years and have nothing but good things to say.

Back to the pics, I like them a lot! Thanks. We have the same color HHR and have been doing some mods as well. We have the Chevy script on the front hood as you do. I did one of the taillights with a circle of 1/8 " but do not like how it joins. It keeps pulling apart and looks wrong. This stopped me from doing all four. Now our car looks weird with only one.
I guess I'll wait for some after market company to produce these "egg rings". Yours look ok, but I can see where they may pull apart as well. Any special measures taken at the spot where they join?

What size chrome for the belt line? 1/8"?
Looks good!
We have the running boards and I'm thinking of doing 3/4 along the outer edge. I was going to do the wheel wells, but now that the mud flaps are on, it seems unlikely. I just think the car is made for chrome and joining the lines from front to rear works well. I was going to do it with the running board/wheel wells, but may go belt line instead. Anyway, yours looks great thanks for showing, and thank you CJ for giving your time and knowledge to us all!

One more thought. Do you think the window chrome would put up with a northeast winter? Snow, frozen ice, etc. I'd hate to spend the time doing it only to see it all spring off in foul weather.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts on the matter.
