A few quick pics: I like the way they look, but being me, I just ordered the high powered superbright versions of these today ...
Rear cargo light, dome, and passenger's map light lit up:

The dreaded overhead console! You can see the OE bulb's behind the reflector; once that reflector's CAREFULLY removed the bulb comes out only one way, up into the headliner- doable, but not easy (at least for me)...

Taken from the driver's seat:

ok, I know this is a little late, but for those that have a 2010 LS/LT/SS WITHOUT the sun roof, the bulb is a 578 bulb that is 40mm long.

I get all my LED lights for house/bike/car from www.superbrightleds.com

At least for the 2010... all your interior lights can use the 194 wedge style bulbs.
I used these in cool white. Nice crisp color and light.

For the dome lights in the back that are tubes. They are a simple 4410 bulb. I used their 4410-x9 Again in the cool white color

However you will also need the small resister to install on one of the light wires... if not, they will continue to glow when the lights are "off". This is due to a stray 6 volts in the system, caused by the dimmer switch in the dash. It's not enough power to light a standard bulb but these LEDs are power hungry and will light up with very little power. The one you need is for marker lights RL-2525. You only need one to fix the dome lights.

I was just wondering: Those of you who bought LED TAIL lights for your HHR from superbrightleds.com, which kind did you get? I was looking at the "High Power 3156 & 3157 Bulbs 3Watt LX3 series: 1 x 3Watt Luxeon LED, 130 degree beam" bulbs. I was wondering if anyone had purchased these. If so, do you like them? Would you recommend them? I saw the 18-LED Tower Type bulbs, but I'm not really sure I'd like that style. And the 25-LED 3156 & 3157 Bulbs look a little bit cheap, so I'm sort of undecided which way I want to go. Anyone have suggestions and advice?

AH-HA - That is why mine all have a small glow to them at night when I'm driving. I installed red T-10 led's in the 2 front map lights and red tube style led's (can't remember the #) in the 2 rear cargo lights. Can you just install the resistor by sliding the ends into the slot with the light or do I have to remove the dimmer switch and install it inline with one of the wires?
Wonder if my side marker lights are slightly lit during the day? I installed bright white led's in them.

I just answered my 2nd question. I went out and checked and no, my side marker lights do not glow when the headlights are off. Only come on when I turn them on. Now to get that resistor for the interior.

The tubes are 4410s. You can see the old ones in the pic above.

As far as the tail lights, I went with the entire new RAS versions. So not from superbight.

With the resisters, they just install "in-line" with the splicers (that I normally don't like but this isn't a bad use of them). Here's a pic of the one installed on my front markers. After I put them in I got the hyper flash and that was super annoying.

The one used on the dome light as I said earlier, is smaller but installs the same. I installed mine on the cargo area dome light, double side taped it to the roof so it wouldn't sit on the interior liner. Reason being they get hot, and you don't want it to burn the liner. I checked on it a week later and it was still fine.

For the front blinkers, I'm currently running the 3157 A-25

But I don't like the way they look. Too small and not enough side light in the reflector and hard to see in the daytime.

So I have now ordered a set A-18 towers. They should be in this week. I can post the results.

The 2010 must be different than the 2009. My '09 takes a standard 194/T-10 style for the side marker lights.
