LED Switchback question, 06 specfic

Are the switchback LED just plug in like a standard bulb (minus load resistors) or is there some other wiring?

What I'm wondein is, on the 06 HHR, the bright side of the front markers/signals is the DLR. I've wondered if I installed a set of switchbacks, would my DLR be white or amber? I'd like to have them white with the DLR's, then normal operation with headlights on. But without something to connect them to the DLR system, it seems like they would be amber with the DLR (along with the signal flash) and only white with the running lights....

Did I ask that right?

That depends....were you trying to make my head spin ????

They didn't require any additional wiring on the BMW, SS's (3) or the panel. But none of them are a 06. Should try a set....if they light up backwards, switch the wires.

Since the DRL activates the bright side of a standard bulb, I wondering if that is also the amber part of the switchback.

How would you switch the wires? I plugs into the standard socket doesn't it?

Yours an 06? If yes, what lights up with the DRL?

I'm running tower LED's now and don't need resistors. No hyperflash here. But several of us think it's an 06 thing since it's the only year HHR that uses the parking lights for the DLR's.

im using LEDs inside without problems and for my brake/reverse/rear signals without resistors and no problem..so im wondering if switching the fronts to LED will throw it off then the hyperflash will start

All exterior but my 3rd brake lite are LED's and no hyperflash here. But my tails are ICPW units. Here's a video of the flash rate.
