Less than 24 hours... first mod complete..!!

I picked up my wagon yesterday, and the first thing I noticed is that there was no tip on the exhaust...

THAT...!! has got to go...!!

So I made a quick stop at Autozone on the way home and picked up this...

AH.......... thats much better..!!

LOL... I'm going to have a lot of fun with this car..!!

How much for the tip? And I thought all HHRs came with the tip? Perhaps only on the Chrome package?
The mod looks good. Many more to come no doubt. This modding thing is addictive!

That's one of the first things I did too. Just doesn't look right without a chrome tip on it. One of the next things to go was stock muffler...put on an IMCO T924 and another tip. Well...actually 2 tips, because first one I bought was not stainless steel and it rusted and looked like crap.

Congratulations...the fun has just begun. Happy modding.

Harpo...the tip is an option and only comes with the 2LT as standard equipment if I am not mistaken. I got bright chrome package and my 1LT did not come with one. Depending on what you buy, they start around $15 and go up...at least that's what I found.

You can get the tip with any LT not sure about the LS. I have a 1LT got the tip with mine. No I do not have the chrome package

Thanks for the top on the, er, tip! I have one on the stock muffler, but the imco does not and it will likely go on this week. The plan was to take the tip off of the stock and weld it to the new muffler.

But if Autozone has anything in stainless that looks good, like the one in the first post, that may be the way for me to go, thereby leaving the stock muffler stock, in case I have to put it back on.

the tip was only $25 at Autozone... they had several styles, this one seemed to look the best and filled up the space the best.

Just to add to the confusion. I have a 1LT, w/bright chrome package and I did get the tip with mine. As an after thought, I have a 2.4, wonder if that makes a difference?

Anway, El_Guapo, let the mods roll.
