Welcome to Chevy HHR. The place where the points don't matter, yep, they don’t matter just like a PT L****.

Enjoy the site. And if you have questions, there is a search button on the tool bar above, which a lot of the items fall under already.

We like Pics around here, there is some good how to's and interesting mods (modifications. like the doorknobs, lower grille and upper grille, intakes, and lots of others.

Enjoy your stay :twothumbs and

that light is to shed light on the waterfall and on the window switches at the bottom at night so you can see them since they arent lit.

Its the Alien Mothership warning lamp. That's why its not too bright so they won't be attracted to the HHR.

You'll probably see some other funny things that people will say, so prepare yourself for some really funny stuff. HERE is one of the threads I am referring to. Another one is HERE as well. We've got quite a sense of humor here as you will see.
Thanks Deb, I merged all three together.

I don't mind the light at all. My first experience with one of these lights was on a Corvette I had. I never actualyl noticed the bulb but one night the realization hit me that I could see my entire console so I went on a search. Of course, since the Corvette is a targa, the light was not on the headliner. It about drive me nuts trying to follow shadows to figure out where it was coming from. The idea is not bad, just the placement. It's nice being able to see inside the vehicle I think.

And for you guys dogging on Fieros.. Please keep it up. It makes the price go down so I can buy more of them.

I've owned over 40 of them and never one of them caught on fire. The fire issue was because the 84s were rushed ahead of schedule so they could pace Indy that year. It was fixed on a recall and wasn't a problem anymore. Unfortunately for the car, the reputation stuck with it. The 88 Fiero GT would outperform the 88 Corvette for half the price. Go figure why they were cancelled. Can't let a mid-engine car be the new 'American sports car' and outdo the legend. After owning many of both, this is an informed opinion on performance and reliability. I don't own a Corvette now and I own five Fieros.

Sorry for the Fiero history lesson.. Now back on topic.

Was that aimed at me? I love Fieros but I thought they should have but a glove box instead of a map pocket. I would love a Fiero with a twin turbo 350 and finale body kit. That's on the list of cars I want to own.
