Just my thought but save a little money and use paint. The vinyl has its problems and looks like a motor home, van from the 70s or tunners. I don't mean to be critical of anyones choice and am all for doing what makes you happy and proud, but look at car shows and see what is done. Rember this only my thoughts.

When I owned a PT cruiser, the dealer had a flame option (Vinyl) that cost $495.00 plus 150.00 to install, anything has to be a better deal than that...

I know I live in the sticks but paid $600. for painted flames. Look for someone trying to get goining in custom paint (look at their work) and you can find a deal

Here are some pictures of my ghost flames.

The side emblems are from a 49 Suburban. Most of the ones you see people using are off of a 50 to 52 chevy pickup. These emblems are for 47 to 49 chevy pickups. They have 'thriftmaster' printed on them. They ar not taped on. I've drilled holes and have used the original posts.

The hood ornament is also drilled and is off of a 1948 Chevy Fleetmaster. My wife liked it better than the 49 ornament.

I hope the images come out. If not, I will do another post with attachments.
