I recall seeing a photo in one of the threads, which I can no longer find. It showed what looked to be a lower grill that was a match for the upper. Can anyone shed light on where I can find that, or whether that is a custom job or is available to buy?

Mitzkitty has one if I remember correctly. It's a custom made from the upper grill. I remember reading that some had cooling issues from this also. So it can depend on where you live if it's a good idea or not.

That looks Sharp, too bad Lund discontinued making them, or do you know something different ?

nope, you are right. I got 2 of the last four that lund had on the shelf. I called them direct and they arranged the sale thru a distributor in ohio at about 140 something each
