the more I read this thread, the more I chuckle..bottom line..if it wasnt for "MODS"...so called 'tacky" or not..HHR cruze ins and car shows in general would be pretty boring..I applaud ANYTHING a person wants to do to there own ride to "personallize" it for themselves..without that..every car would look the same..maybe to others it may not be the "cool thing to do" but to them...it looks good..thats all that matters....ive had a parking lot full of HHR from all over and no 2 look the same...
it is what makes us different that brings us all together..
remeber your first car???(probably a pile)unless you were blessed with rich parents..but it was the coolest thing in the world....just my 2 cents..

good stuff - bad stuff

Right on Pyro. It has bothered me since this or any other form has been created that someone would want to run down someones idea of what to do to THEIR vehicle. Does it make some people feel good to run someone's ideas in to the ground. I don't think all mods are great but it their ideas on their vehicle so PLEASE leave the people alone. I enjoy seeing all types of mods because thats what the changes do, make you thank about what I can do to my HHR. You don't have to like my HHR but please keep your negative thoughts to YOUR SELF. I have done some mods on my car that I didn't like so I changed them, not because some told me they didn't like them but because I didn't like the finished product.
So ya all have a great day and keep the mods coming.

See ya down the road

I personally don't like chrome door edging on any vehicle. Again, this is my opinion only and I think it interrupts the horizontal body lines. I also don't like the way the bug deflectors look particularly on the HHR. It looks like a moustache with the fenders as facial cheeks. I have one on my pickup, but in my opinion (again) it seems to fit the truck because it's the width of the front end of the vehicle.
