My 3rd set of wheels in 1 year

I could not belive my eyes 2 weeks ago when I was getting my HHR out of a 7 month hibernation. The chrome had blistered up and came off starting at the back working it`s way toward the front.I had only 1,727 miles on the car and less on the wheels.

I called A R Wheels and they asked me to send some pic`s of the damage.A week latter they called me back saying that they were covered and I could pick out any wheel they made in the same size no charge. They covered the shipping of the old ones back as well as the new ones plus wheel nuts and new valve stems.

The only problem was they no longer made the split 5 spoke ones and could not come up with a set of 4 from any of there dealers. The new ones I went with are called Haze and after 2 days they are growing on me.

Some of my friends that have seen them like them better the the others.I still would rather have the others but I got to say American Racing sure surprised me in a full no cost replacement with just 4 pic`s that I sent them.I`m used too the pro rated you will have too pay the difference, the shipping stories companies hand you when you have a problem

Nice to hear they treated you well, I guess the extra money for their brand name is worth something after all.
I also like the new ones, IMO most five spoke wheels dont fit the HHR as well.

Good customer service, but I'm not feeling the wheels. They're the only thing that's chrome. Needs lowered too.

That's too bad, at least they took care of ya, and when it comes down to it the only person who has to like them is YOU.

Oh no, drop it like a hot potato! If you put it into hibernation, thenyou would be a good candidate for air ride!!!
