Looks sweet! Hope to see them in person at CPIII! Tamir (clevelandhhrss) is working on these also, be anxious to see how the two versions compare.

Here is my hole I cut in the back of my assembly. I needed room for the shield and the holes were used for mounting. Again done with a drill and dremel tool.

This is ONLY for the E46 BMW setup. Other makes of projectrs will most definitely need to be fitted differently.

I will, I just need to gather what belongs and what doesn't, in the write up. I took some steps that were not necessary and I would omit those. Just need some time to do it.

I do too. I have looked and looked and I am afraid to take apart my stock headlights. I have seen kits for other cars for about $400 that include both headlight assemblies, harnesses and bulbs but nothing for the HHR. I have even contacted companies on the internet and they say they have had lots of requests but no manufacturer has stepped up to the plate. If anyone knows of the actual companies that make these types of kits I would love to call them directly. The stock lights are too plain and a bad ass HHR like the SS needs something more aggressive.

I think, I would do this for anyone but I might require that the buyer takes off the lens themselves. Saves me the hassle and if you are using the housing then YOU would have to be careful with the disassembly.

Labor cost can be talked about later...

where did you source the projectors from? i know they're E46 units, but did you find a wrecked one or some on eBay or what? i really want to look into doing this mod if nothing comes about soon. i would like to do some custom stuff, maybe change around how the entire inside of the headlight is layed out, thinking about maybe an LED eyeliner like in the Audis...lots of ideas, just need to get parts and money.
