I agree...with this particular color HHR, I think it should be color matched. Some colors take the black grille well, like TomsHHR with the black.

I really want one like that with the chrome/white/chrome and white bowtie/white/chrome. Say, how hard was the vinyl to apply? The grille bars have a funny contour.

Is the chrome paint easy to work with?

The vinyl is easy to me. I had to cut my own, it comes in a roll.

Anyone know where I might be able to get some spray paint to color match the car? Or should I have it done by a shop?

Check with your local auto paint store. If you don't know, ask a body shop. The one I use around here was able to put it in a paint can for me. Cost 17 dollars a can, but then I can do little jobs myself without haveing to mix up and use a paint gun. Any professional paint jobber should be able to do this for you.

Don, I am not a professional paint jobber! But I am starting to get close LOL. Don, I am your man! We just need to change your grill for a week. Which I just happen to have a few to choose from. Granted it will not be perfect. And I will not be offended if you choose to go another route. But, the price is right! Todd (Uma)
