I LOVE IT!!! I have been checking out the aftermarket grills, but really liked the original until I saw your modified version. It really ties the upper grill to the lower one. Painting the mesh black would make it less visible, HHR06.

I get the impression that Mike is working on molds and producing them. Perhaps 2 versions-with and without the bowtie. And, perhaps, a preshaped lower one with a chrome border???

The car probably runs a bit cooler now, also.

I was just informed by Chevy that they have an aftermarket grille similar to the one i did coming out soon.

Thanks for the positve responses. This really is an easy mod, and by FAR the most bang for the buck. As for the lower grills, my HHR did not come with fog lights, I removed the block out plugs and used the same mesh for "bumper grills". Also an easy mod.
