New wheels/new tires?

I just got a set of Smoothies 11 from TruckSHOP today. 17/7. Should I stay with the original tires or is there a better tire upgrade I should be doing??

Anything is an upgrade oer the stock FireHawks.

I'm running Hankook H105's - love 'em!

Ultra smooth ride, very quiet, - great traction & treadwear.

Check 'em out...

with only 22,000 on it i shouldnt have had to replace the first ones
i got a blowout, then someone knifed the left front

so i bought the Goodyears and sold the other 2 for 35 each local on Craigs list which didnt even buy one Goodyear

i have always liked Goodyear tires.

Nice choice of wheels, did you special order them, what is the back spacing?

If you already have stock 17's then I would just use your original tires until they wear out, just saves some $$$. The stock tires aren't the best you can use but they will do a fine job in most cases. Once they wear out there are several choices for new rubber on the market, some of which were already mentioned. -Dan
