Angry oopsss :(

After going to the laundry the other week. i left the bleach in my car (which i havent had for not even a year yet). So i go out to clean out my car yesterday and the bleach is all over the floor Now the carpet on the drivers back side is all white. WHAT SHOULD I DOOOO?? PLEASE HELP!!!

nothing you can do but replace the carpet. There are some places that can paint your carpet..but that is a temporary fix and always looks worse within a few months. Sorry!!!!

You mean the carpet not the floor mats?
What color is it? Before the bleach.
I guess order a new carpet from the Dealer.

YEA IT IS THE CARPET NOT THE FLOOR MAT.

either check with the dealer, gm replacement, and/ or ebay.

I would try to mask the area in the back from edge to edge to make it uniform and then dye the area. Might not be a perfect match, but it if the the entire area will the same color.

BTW, was this gray or cashmere? Gray would of course be easier. I dyed a set of black floor mats gray and they looked great. That was hard going to a lighter color. They held up just fine.

Give it a shot, what's the worst that can happen, you have to replace you carpet. Carpet and fabric dyes have come a long way.

I don't remember the brand I used before, it's been a while. But contact a local upholstery shop and see what the recommend. THey might even sell you what you need. The stuff I used just came from Advance Auto Parts. But I was able to just have these and carpet will be harder.
