18 x 7.5 (eliminate any issues of rubbing once the car is lowered).
I love the rims but don't like the blue. Do they have other colors or would you have to paint them?

That's what I have = rub.

Let me add this, the rubbing is minor. I'm not scraping or cutting my tires. The rubbing is barely noticable and can be tolerated. I drive everyday 70 miles to and from work with my HHR. Now I'm picky so I'm going to have my rear fenders rolled in order to minimize rubbing.

I've seen lowered cars that the sheetmetal has cut into the tires, that's when you have problems!

It's all about that offset... 245's here, had I found a set of wheels with a touch more offset than my 40mm, I'd have no rub at all. As it stands, my 18x8 and 245-40/18 necessitated a fender roll, and all is now well with the world.

ch,

I talked to the sales rep from discount wheel and they said its just an insert that can be taken out and painted. I'm going to order them tomorrow, hopefully have them on by next week and will paint the inserts sunburst...woohoo!

Kamusta Pare,

I have these on my ride....

They are the Foose Nitrous, 18X8.5 with a 34mm offset. I also have 235 40's on them. The wheel width and the offset really give it a nice "lip" and depth look. Needless to say, I will NOT be lowering anytime with this setup as it is evident it will rub in the fender wells. However, it is a compromise I am very happy with.

hey erf...thanks for the reply kabayan. Thanks for all the useful info everyone. I'll get the rims test mounted first before agreeing to purchase. I am most definitely thinking of adding goldline springs to my ride in the near future.

Hey, SoCal, what happened to the Foose wheels?
JoeK, I'm not big on Black on Black. I think chrome would be nicer - and FASTER!
