That is really cool...I love that look. Way to go.

I am probably going to paint mine down the road, but until then, I added one of my "Smoke" decals on mine. Didn't like how it looked on the car itself, but it looks nice on the CGS. Will get a better picture when I can. My digital is giving me fits and I think I'll just go buy a new one...and get rid of the cheap one.

Ok, I'll tell him, but I did most of it though! He did the hard parts, ground off that beautiful finish it came with and exacto knifed the sacrificed SoCalHHR's decal off after I painted it!

I agree, I think I'll add the clear this evening. I was worried it would crackle the paint as my last experience after painting with clear, the results were disastrous.

Before/after clear gloss

It's hard to tell there's a differnece when looking at these pic's.
Adding the clear gloss sure brightened it up.

The before pic was taken in the sunlight. The after picture was taken in the garage just past sunset. Perhaps tomorrow I'll take a pic in the sunlight. Will need sunglasses and a light filter to cool it down!

Before gloss clear:

Hey Sindy, any chance of you mass producing those??? That's a good looking intake you've got there. Nice job...
