Have you tried using the "search" option ?

There are many painted interiors I have seen posted here, with Beautiful results.

Bummer about your dash cluster getting ruined..

I've had very poor results with the Bulldog product, but have had very good results from Duplicolor Adhesion Promoter. The biggest factor in the final outcome, however, is the prep. Use a good degreaser, scuff it, then clean it a couple more times.

clean especially well if you have ever used armor all, that stuff is impossible to get off. i used acetone, just dilute it a bit.

keep in mind KRYLON paint is already designed to bond to plastic at a molecular level..i agree a about mild scuff and clean but in this case no promoter really need be used as its already in the paint..painting plastic is funny stuff..some plasic composites give off "gasses"if u want to call them that..usually when new..(mmm that new car smell)in this case you should be ok..what exactly happened??spiders from mars or the crystal effect??normally any reaction visible is a case of cross contamination of chemicals..others are right ..armour all..windex(non alcohol stuff)and anything near silicone will crack..maybe sum silicone in your cluster..who knows..ive learned the hard way too..always test a small spot first.....feel bad for ya over the cluster but dont let it get ya down..we have all done it...

I've done it but you need primer. Soap and water worked for me (some use acetone first) and then you primer and light sand, and primer and light sand, etc. until the grain is filled. You don't have to sand down the grain first this way, you just fill in the cracks.
Then you have a fantastic surface for any paint type. Then lots of light base coats and lots of clear coats. Because the coat is so light, it can get an additional coat quickly (not overnight, like 30-60 min). You can really do a full interior in 3 evenings.
i.e. once the parts are removed, cleaning takes a few minutes for everything, and then the primer/sanding the first night, base color the second night, clear the 3rd night.
