The piece where the running boards would go

I don't have running boards on my HHR but i have the piece where running boards would go and if you open the driver or passenger door you will see where it comes out a little bit. Well that piece came a loose and i was wondering if there is a type of glue out there that could put it back. I have tried alot of glue from autozone and they will work for a little while then it will come a loose again?
Any suggestions?

Thank you.

Sorry no suggestions, but the referred to pieces are commonly called rocker panels.

Goop.

Lowes / Home Depot have it.

Works great.

Lasts forever.

Good Luck!

(Make sure you clean surfaces to be bonded with rubbing alcohol.)

I would not use glue since the piece is bolted on. Crawl under the side and check to see if everything is tight.
