Polishing Aluminum

Whats the going price to have the valve cover polished? I just put on my cold air intake and that valve cover just begs to be polished. I have a 2.2 engine. I have one company that wants $100.00. Is that low, high or OK

See ya down the road

For $60 I can powder coat one for almost a perfect match to the intake, assuming you have the CGS.

Either way, powder coating is a great option.

I'll be watching this one. I too have wondered what professional polishing costs.
I know that powder coating is a great option, but so is a good polish jobbie.

Mr. B attempted it with just his garage buffer. It's much too much for the bench grinder with polisher wheel... and he doesn't have the tools to get in the nooks and crannies for the small detail area..

Sounds like some Christmas gift ideas......Mr. B gets a new tool and you get your nooks and crannies buffed. Sounds like a happy holiday to me.
