Running board caps

Evne in the dull light, the pictures of these new running board insetrs look reakl nice! What I see upon further inspection, is the reflection of the new chromed running boards shining off of the car doors. THAT alone really adds a lot.
The same happened when I put a SoCal carbon fiber shiney insert on the top of the rear bumper.
My black insets look fine and have not warped as some folks' have. I can see replacing them with these new ones though.I'm such a chrome-a-holic!

Those do look nice, the polished finish really makes them stand out. One thing about polished billet however, it takes a lot of upkeep to keep the mirror finish looking good. Keep them clean, keep water off of them, and you probably don't want to be stepping on them. As soon as someone puts a foot on them with a piece of dirt or gravel it can scratch. Deep scratches don't just polish out of billet. That's why the ones we did are brushed on the traffic areas, a much more durable finish.
Also, for anyone making or selling parts with the GM symbols or copies of vehicle logos should be careful. GM is very strict about their licensing and you can get into a lot of trouble. If it's just a one-off part then it may not be as as big of a risk, but to sell or manufacture multiple parts without proper permission from GM is asking for trouble. That's why you see differences in fonts on parts.

My understanding is that GM product licensing requires a licensing fee of a couple thousand dollars plus the standard royalty percent for each individual product and design. Any change to the product requires a separate license. This is why we decided against doing any GM logos for low production items, it simply did not make financial sense.

He's great to work with on custom stuff. When they've got them for the rear, I'm gonna just get ribbed ones though.
They ran me $726. This included design time, boards, and six custom centercap/badges shipped.
Wasn't cheap and they do scratch very easy. cleaning shouldn't be too bad though.
