Your right its not the same driving, Salt on the road & Salt in the Ocean.
The salt on the road even effects my Asthma. I just hope by the end of winter I can shine my pipes up so they can look good, I wash my HHr as much as the weather
will let me but them again this is Chicago and the Winters are not 70's and sunny. Ask me how my pipes look in the month of March 2007.

Hmm, I was gonna get some triple lakes for my Camaro, starting to second guess if so much matenince is gonna be involved.

Thanks all, looks like there's not much that can be done about it. What about taking them apart and putting a clear-coat on them?
